Mic ☽ is a functional microphone based on the Lunar Scepter, the object of power of Sailor Moon, the protagonist and female heroine of an iconic anime series (Japanese cartoons) that strongly characterized the globalized children and youth consumption of the '90s. The work appeals to the collective and affective memory of my generation. The microphone is on during the exhibition: it remains available and at disposal. It was the protagonist of spontaneous Karaokes, performances and live music.
Work exhibited in Posmilenial, Group Exhibition at Quimera Galería.
Performance
Performative Activation as part of the 7th Andreani Foundation Award.
